Abstract
Primary sources of energy are the foundation of all industrial processes, and their exploitation is crucial for the functioning and maintenance of the modern world. However, the majority of primary energy sources come from non-renewable sources, such as coal, oil, and gas, whose exploitation can have negative consequences for the environment. This paper will investigate how the exploitation of primary energy sources affects the environment and which are the negative consequences for the air, water, soil, and animal life. Additionally, measures that can be taken to reduce the impact of primary energy source exploitation on the environment will be presented, and alternatives that can be used as a replacement for traditional energy sources will be considered. The aim of this paper is to assess the impact of the exploitation of primary energy sources on the environment, in order to gain a better understanding of the importance of sustainable development and environmental protection for the future.
